Archive Policy

The International Journal of Social Reality utilizes both the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) systems to create a distributed archiving network among participating libraries. These systems are designed to establish and maintain permanent archives of the journal, ensuring long-term preservation and restoration of its content. By leveraging these technologies, the journal enhances the longevity and accessibility of its publications across multiple locations.

All content within the CLOCKSS Archive and the Global LOCKSS Network is preserved with explicit permission from the publisher. This permission is secured through written agreements or online permission statements, ensuring that all archival activities are conducted legally and ethically.

We work collaboratively with LOCKSS network implementers to develop governance and legal terms that are tailored to the specific content, jurisdictions, rights, and access provisions relevant to the journal. This collaboration ensures that our archiving and preservation practices comply with applicable legal and ethical standards.
